U.S. Customers: What You Need to Know About New Import Duty Charges on Menopod
Share
As of May 2, 2025, the United States has removed the de minimis exemption for certain imported goods — including those manufactured in China. Since Menopod is manufactured in China and shipped from Canada, this change now directly impacts U.S. customers.
What This Means
U.S. customers are now being charged a 145% import duty on Menopod orders shipped from Canada. This fee is applied by U.S. Customs and must be paid at the time of checkout.
This charge is not controlled by Menopod and is the result of new U.S. customs regulations affecting goods based on their country of origin.
A Simple Way to Avoid Duty Charges
We understand how frustrating this is, and we’re actively monitoring the situation to see if there will be any changes or relief for small businesses and their customers.
In the meantime, Menopods are available through our Amazon store, shipped from within the United States. That means:
- No international customs fees
- No added duty charges
- Faster delivery within the U.S.
