Shipping Update: Potential Canada Post Disruption 2025

Last updated: May 23, 2025

We want to keep you informed as the situation with Canada Post evolves.

As of May 23, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has initiated a nationwide overtime ban. This legal strike action means employees will refuse all overtime work, which may cause delays in processing and delivering parcels.

While Canada Post is still operating, their ability to handle parcel volumes efficiently may be affected—and delays are likely.

What We’re Doing to Keep Your Order Moving

To help avoid disruptions, we are:

  • Prioritizing other couriers for all shipments

  • Only using Canada Post when absolutely necessary, such as for PO Box deliveries

  • Monitoring all shipments closely to minimize delays

  • Communicating with affected customers directly

If You Use a PO Box

If your shipping address is a PO Box:

  • Please provide a street address if you have one.

  • If no alternate is available, Canada Post will still be used, but delays are more likely.

  • If strike activity escalates and a full work stoppage occurs, we will not be able to deliver to PO Boxes until service resumes.

What About Returns?

For Canadian customers, return shipping labels generated through our system use Canada Post. As long as there is no full strike, you can continue to send returns using these prepaid labels.

If a nationwide work stoppage occurs, returns through Canada Post will be paused until service resumes. We’ll communicate any changes and ensure you're supported through the process.

If you prefer to use a different courier during this time, returns can still be sent at your own expense.
